Sarah Brandner is a freelance scenic, lighting and exhibit designer based in the Twin Cities. She has worked for many theaters in town including Stages Theatre, Theatre Mu, Penumbra Theatre, History Theatre, Park Square, Minnesota Opera, the Guthrie and Minnesota History Museum. Sarah received her Master of Liberal Arts (MLA) and B.A. in Theatre with an Art Minor from Minnesota State University Moorhead and her Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in scenic and lighting design from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. Select design credits include: Mary Poppins Jr., Two Kids That Blow Sh*t Up, Black Light, Lonely Soldiers: Women at War in Iraq, Rule of Thumb, Elixir of Love, Concrete Orange: An American Fable, and Penumbra at 40: Art, Race and a Nation on Stage.
