Check out the new Consent is Mac t-shirts (above), distributed on campus in Spring 2017! The updated design features student-crafted definitions of consent on the back, and the t-shirts are printed in teal to better align with Green Dot Bystander Intervention branding. The teal color also represents national sexual assault awareness efforts and Sexual Violence Prevention Month (April) on campus.

The "#OurLockerRoomTalk" video was created by the Macalester College Football Team in October 2016 to share insights into our campus locker room culture, to speak out against sexual violence in our community, and to send the message that this issue matters at Mac. Join the conversation with #OurLockerRoomTalk.

The Macalester College Football Team created an "It's On Us" video to affirm that it is everyone's responsibility to prevent sexual violence and to create a culture where violence is not tolerated. The video was inspired by the White House's national It's On Us campaign.

The Macalester College "It's On Us" video was created by students in August 2016; it was inspired by the White House's national It's On Us campaign. Macalester students, staff, faculty, and administrators aim to mobilize and inspire our community to stand up and take action against sexual and domestic violence on our campus.

If you have experienced sexual violence of any kind, your safety and medical needs are of primary concern. We encourage all members of our community to report all incidents of sexual violence and encourage victims to seek support and care.
