August 28, 2025 – Workday MOOO – Macalester Optimizes Our Operations

Macalester’s project to replace our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system with Workday launched in August. This three-year rollout begins with HR and Finance, followed by Student systems. It is essential to modernize processes and replace our current ERP, which is being phased out. The system supports critical functions such as budgeting, procurement, hiring, payroll, course registration, and academic records. HR, Business Services, and ITS are now in the planning phase, mapping current processes into Workday. Project updates will be shared this fall, with training beginning in the spring.
