History, Heritage, & Awareness Months

Macalester College honors nationally celebrated history and heritage months to recognize and uplift the experiences and narratives of marginalized communities. These months challenge our campus to intentionally engage and gather in community to continuously learn from one another.

  • Note: AAPI Heritage Month is nationally honored in May, due to how the academic calendar is structured, Macalester celebrates during the month of April.
