Maureen Michalski, a 2000 alumna, is the Director of Development for Schafer Richardson, Inc., a real estate investment services firm based in Minneapolis. Maureen leads and facilitates project teams in the development of multifamily, mixed use and commercial projects throughout the upper Midwest.
Maureen has developed over a half a billion dollars in new and repositioned real estate assets over a 15 year career in commercial real estate. Prior to joining Schafer Richardson in 2008, Maureen worked both nationally and locally on the development of multifamily affordable housing.
In 2017 Maureen was honored by the Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal as a “40 under 40” leader. Maureen is active member of the Urban Land Institute, participating on the local Housing Council, acting as a mentor for the Real Estate Diversity Initiative (REDI) and volunteering as an advisor to municipalities through ULI’s Navigating the New Normal program. Maureen is also a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NIAOP) and is a founding member of Women in Real Estate Development and Urban Planning (WIRED UP).
Maureen lives in Minneapolis with her husband and two children.
