Macalester Family Fellows

Become a Macalester Family Fellow and help fuel our mission to create a more just and peaceful world.

Macalester Family Fellows are more than donors—you’re partners in shaping leaders who change the world. With your annual investment of $10,000, you join a community of parents who share your passion for Macalester’s core values: curiosity that drives discovery, service that creates change, and the courage to build a more just and brighter future.

Your investment. Your way.

Choose how to maximize your impact—the Parent & Family Fund that enables us to tackle the college’s most pressing needs or targeted giving that fuels your specific passions. Your support powers groundbreaking research and an array of life-changing opportunities that prepare tomorrow’s leaders.

Become a Macalester Family Fellow and invest in the values you want in our global community.

In recognition of their generosity, Macalester Family Fellows enjoy the following engagement opportunities:

  • Family Fellows regional events with senior leaders
  • Twice yearly fireside chat ZOOMs with college president and or provost/dean
  • Invitation-only reception with college president and leadership during Mac Fest
  • Family Fellows Winter Weekend, an annual on-campus immersion experience (Friday afternoon-Saturday during spring semester) for the Family Fellows community
  • Specialized communication and resources from the staff in the Office of Parent and Family Engagement
  • Special Commencement weekend reception and recognition

Family Fellows Winter Weekend

Each spring semester, Macalester Family Fellows are invited to Saint Paul to experience an immersive weekend and deeper connection to Mac with opportunities for personal interaction with college leadership, lectures from top faculty, engagement with other families of philanthropic interests and a love for Macalester, and activities and time with your child.

Join the Fellows. Ignite the spark for a brighter world.
