Research involving human participants must be approved by Macalester College’s Institutional Review Board (IRB). Review by the IRB may take several weeks. A detailed description of the process and timeline for approval is provided here.

Research involving non-human animal participants must be approved by Macalester College’s Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC).
