Self-Assessment

Self assessments can be useful tools to build self awareness in your career exploration and planning. They can help you discover things you’d be good at, articulate your strengths, and identify your values.

An assessment does not define you. These resources are simply starting points; take what feels helpful and leave the rest.

Self assessments help identify your values, interests, personality, & strengths.

  • Values

Values Card Sort: Provides an interactive way to define what you value most and set the stage for behaviors and performance more closely aligned with your ideal self.

  • Interests

O*Net Interest Profiler: Reflect on and discover your work-related interests and explore career options that may be a good fit for you.

  • Personality

Adobe Creative Types: Assesses your natural way of thinking, problem-solving, and collaborating to reveal where your creative strengths lie and how they might serve as a force for progress and innovation.

DISC Assessment: Measures four behavioral traits – Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, and Conscientiousness – so you can see your communication style and how you work with others.

  • Strengths

CliftonStrengths: Assesses your natural aptitudes across 34 specific talent themes. Rather than focusing on fixing weaknesses, it suggests developing these strengths to move from talents to excellence. This assessment requires an access code; email [email protected] to inquire.
