Vanessa Baca, DO

Vanessa (she/her) has a medical degree from Rocky Vista University of Osteopathic Medicine in Colorado and completed her adult psychiatry residency at Hennepin County Medical Center/Regions Hospital in Minnesota. She is fellowship-trained in integrative psychiatry and has focused training in reproductive, women’s health, and child and adolescent psychiatry. She loves working with young adults and is excited to be a part of the Macalester team. She approaches mental health from a holistic perspective and seeks to understand the whole person to find the best treatment modality and plan for each individual. She grew up in Colorado and enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, learning new crafts/hobbies, game nights with friends, reading, writing, and swimming in as many lakes as possible.
