Whether it’s changing the conversation about sexual health, improving sleep, or increasing student resilience, the health promotion’s wellness initiatives aim to foster a campus environment in which students feel empowered to make healthy choices that contribute to their overall personal and academic success.

Each member of the Health Promotion student team brings their unique perspectives to a collaborative effort to offer education and initiatives that enhance the health of our community.
Job Opportunity: Health Promotion Assistant in the Hamre Center
Are you interested in supporting your fellow students? Do you have a passion for making changes on campus to enhance well-being? If yes, you should apply to be a Health Promotion Assistant. HPAs work to promote a culture of well-being at Macalester through education, programming, and sharing of resources. This team will approach this work through the lenses of equity and intersectionality, specifically working to center folks who have been historically de-centered in these conversations. HPAs will also have opportunities to gain professional knowledge and skills that will continue to serve them beyond their time as a Macalester student.
