Senior Week

Congratulations Class of 2026! With finals done, you are ready to make your journey toward graduation. Our Senior Week tradition celebrates the accomplishments of the graduating class with a series of events designed to encourage and engage you and your classmates one last time. Information on Senior Week tickets will be available early in the Spring 2026 semester and you can find the tentative schedule of events below (subject to change).

Senior Week 2026 (Monday May 11-Saturday May 16)

Monday, May 11

Last Lecture
1:30 p.m.-3:00 p.m.; Hill Ballroom, Kagin Commons

Hear from the Macalester Community about the truly incredible impact you’ve made in your time at Macalester. Students, staff, faculty, and alumni will lend their voice to the impact you’ve made, the waves you continue to make and journey you have before you.

Marking the Moment

Seniors, how are you saying goodbye to Mac? Falling at the start of senior week, Marking the Moment is an inclusive dinner and storytelling event that holds room for shared reflection with your classmates. We’ll hold space for what has been and what you’ll take with you. You’ll leave with a gift to take light with you on the way. RSVP here so we have the right food.

Senior Class Social

Celebrate with classmates on the Great Lawn! Join us for food featuring the Asian Invasion food truck, Topper’s and S’mores. DJ, photobooth and mini golf featured as well. No bags or carry-ins allowed. In case of rain, the event will move inside Janet Wallace.
