Cori McKenzie

Cori McKenzie has been an educator for nearly twenty years. In addition to teaching English at the secondary level, she has taught undergraduate and graduate courses on language arts pedagogical methods, English grammar, and young adult literature at Michigan State University and State University of New York at Cortland. She received a PhD in Curriculum, Instruction, and Teacher Education from Michigan State, an MA in English Education from the University of Iowa, and a BA in English from Grinnell College. Cori’s academic work uses contemporary theories to investigate the relationship between language arts pedagogy and social change.
