Emily is a neuroscientist interested in understanding the cellular and circuit mechanisms
underlying motor (dys)function. She uses mouse models of disease, behavioral manipulations,
and ex vivo electrophysiology to probe motor circuitry. In addition to her research, Emily is
happy to meet with students to discuss applying to post-baccalaureate research opportunities,
graduate school, or the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship (NSF GRFP).
Beyond the classroom and lab, she enjoys swimming, knitting, and spending time with her cat,
Rhoda.
