Kerry Alexander is the co-founder and primary songwriter of indie rock band, Bad Bad Hats. She has written and released two EPs and three full-length records, which have garnered over 50 million streams and received critical acclaim from The New Yorker, Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, and NPR. With Bad Bad Hats, she has performed in forty-four states and three Canadian territories and toured alongside Hippo Campus, The Beths, Margaret Glaspy, The Front Bottoms, and many others. Her songs have been used in a variety of films, ads, and television shows, including in Netflix’s To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You. She is a voting member of The Recording Academy (Grammy Awards). She attended Macalester College, where she majored in English/Creative Writing with a concentration in poetry and lost the Battle of the Bands.
