Women on the Move is a collaborative project with PARI (Point d’Accueil pour les Réfugiés Immigrés) in Dakar, focused on empowering female refugees and migrants through workshops that address their rights, provide essential resources, and ensure they receive the information, support, and dignity they deserve. Despite the efforts of organizations like PARI, gaps remain in support services, as female refugees face heightened vulnerabilities, lack access to information, struggle with language barriers, and have limited resources to meet basic needs. This project seeks to address these challenges through a human-centered design approach (co-creating solutions with PARI and the migrant community), ultimately empowering female migrants to navigate their new environment with greater agency and security.
