Fall Semester 2018 and Spring Semester 2019
Thanksgiving Break 2018 – Wednesday, November 21 through Sunday, November 25: Residence Halls remain open, Cafe Mac has abbreviated hours. Satellite locations are closed.
End of Semester Departure: After last final and before noon on Thursday, December 20, 2018 All halls, houses and cottages close at noon on Thursday, December 20, 2018. Safety procedure for closing your room.
Study Abroad Storage – Turck Hall: For students studying abroad Spring Semester 2019 and living on campus for the 2019-2020 academic year.
Storage is available for some students leaving for spring study abroad. Students that will live on campus for 2019-2020 may store in Turck Hall. Confirm that you will participate in roomdraw and live on campus fall 2019 by completing the Study Abroad Storage Agreement. There is no access to storage until fall 2019 check-in. Only students that complete the storage agreement are allowed to store in Turck Hall study abroad storage.
Winter Break – begins at noon on Thursday, December 20, 2018 and ends on Monday, January 21, 2019
Winter Break Housing: Halls open for students with approved activities on Wednesday, January 2, 9:00 AM. Dining plans begin with breakfast for students with fall and spring dining plans A, B, or C. Only students that complete the winter break housing request form and are approved will be admitted to the residence halls. Winter Break Housing Request Form due by December 6, 2018
Winter Break Check-in Information will be sent to students that requested break housing and posted here in early December.
Spring Semester opening: Halls open for spring semester on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 Spring dining plans begin with breakfast on January 22. Classes begin on Thursday, January 24, 2019

August 17 Friday – Preseason housing opens for athletes and other students approved for early activities.
August 30, Thursday – New First-Year, Transfer, and International Exchange students arrive. Orientation begins.
September 2, Sunday – Upper class students return for Fall semester.
September 4, Tuesday – Classes Begin
October 12, Friday through October 13, Saturday – Family Fest
October 25, Thursday, through October 28, Sunday – Fall Break; Halls stay open, food service in Cafe Mac and Grille is open.
November 21, Wednesday through November 25, Sunday – Thanksgiving Break; Halls stay open; Food Service in Cafe Mac is open with adjusted holiday hours.
December 12, Wednesday – Classes End
December 12, Thursday – Atrium Market, Scotty’s and Nessie’s closed for winter break.
December 13, Thursday, through Wednesday, December 19 – Study Days and Final Exams
December 19, Wednesday – Food Service ends after dinner. Cafe Mac and Grill, close for winter break
December 20, Thursday – Residence Halls, Houses, and Apartments close by Noon.
