Summer and January Programs

You may choose to participate in January and/or summer programs at any point while attending Macalester. January and summer program applications are not reviewed by the Study Away Review Committee, but you are STRONGLY ADVISED to notify the Center for Study Away of your plans.

Macalester financial aid is not available for summer study away. If you choose to participate in study away during January and have need­-based financial aid, you may be eligible for a $500 grant. Students may also be eligible for additional student loans.
