Norm Rosenberg specializes in U.S. legal and cultural history. One of the founders of the academic project to study the relationship between law and movies, his books and articles deal with the First Amendment, Hollywood motion pictures and TV shows that represent law, and the history of legal culture in the United States. He has earned the Burlington Northern award for outstanding teaching. His current scholarly projects include works on law and cultural theory, movies and legal culture, and the First Amendment.
