Allan Martinez Venegas is a United World College and Macalester College alum with a deep commitment to creativity and community-rooted innovation. 

His career has taken him to over 10 countries, where he has worked on initiatives in public health, applied research, education, and economic development for organizations like the United Nations, the Gates Foundation, and the World Bank. Examples of his projects include recruiting Ebola treatment staff in Liberia, addressing mosquito-borne diseases in rural Panama, launching public–private education partnerships in Nigeria, and conducting research on vaccine hesitancy in Kenya. Most recently, as a senior manager and facilitator with AmplifyDMC, he supported numerous Minnesota-based organizations with strategic planning and fundraising, helping to secure millions in philanthropic funding. 

Allan’s values-driven leadership is grounded in empathy, social impact, and a belief that innovation should be both accessible and liberating. He holds a Master’s in Social Innovation for Sustainable Development from the University of Turin and BAs in Anthropology and Political Science from Macalester College.
