3.5 Classification of Work
Exempt employees are paid on a monthly salary basis. They are paid on the last working day of each month for that month. Exempt employees complete a leave report sheet for time-related benefits. Exempt employees do not receive payment of overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 in a week.
Non-exempt employees are eligible for overtime for all hours worked in excess of 40 hours per week. Non-exempt employees must submit time cards, and are paid biweekly on Fridays, following the Payroll schedule.
