Internships at Twin Cities arts organizations are an integral part of the education of Theater and Dance majors and minors.

While course work prepares students for these opportunities, the hands-on experience at professional institutions prepares them for a solid career in the many fields of the performance arts.

Visit the External Resources page for a compiled list of job boards which are free or available to subscribe to with department support.

Current students should also check out the Macalester Career Exploration website for more information. There you can explore majors, jobs, graduate school, and internships, resume and cover letter tips, a portal to log-in to Handshake, and contact information for Career Exploration staff.
