Come meet the entrepreneurs and startup-curious students of Mac Entrepreneurship Club! No matter your experience or commitment, everyone is welcome. We’ll work on generating ideas together and create a schedule and agenda that’s exciting for everyone including marketing, life in business after Mac, start-up investment/funding, social entrepreneurship, amazing speakers, and anything else of interest.

The Dev Garden is a physical, virtual, and social space that supports student software projects. It is run by MSCS professor and freelance software developer Paul Cantrell ’98 and open to students of all majors, roles, backgrounds and ability levels.

Macalester Summer Internship Grants (MSIG)
MSIG supports student learning through summer internships. In an effort to remove financial barriers to unpaid (yet worthwhile) internship opportunities, Macalester College provides grants for students to complete 10-week unpaid internships during the summer term.

Davis Projects for Peace
All current Macalester students (including seniors) are eligible to apply for the Davis Projects for Peace – to encourage initiative, innovation and entrepreneurship focusing on conflict prevention, resolution or reconciliation to build sustainable peace anywhere, including the United States. Students propose their own definitions on peace and then propose a project that will enable them to implement this definition.
Action Fund
The Action Fund supports off-campus community engagement projects fulfilling unmet needs of Twin Cities’ communities. Students propose and lead direct collaboration with a local community-based organization. The projects all have action components, as well as learning outcomes – promote reflection, meaning making, and sharing of lessons learned.
