Please speak to ISP staff for help with discerning differences among the attorneys, including differences in pay structure.
Scott M. Borene and George Maxwell
Scott Borene was recognized as Minnesota Lawyer of the Year in Immigration Law for 2020 by The Best Lawyers in America. George Maxwell was an expert speaker on the topic of “Recent Trends in Employment Based Immigration” in September on a program sponsored by American Immigration Lawyers Association.
Carrie H. Peltier
The majority of the practice focuses on criminal defense, immigration, and the place where the two intersect. Peltier Law is unique in practicing “crimmigration law.” Typically, an immigration attorney and a criminal defense attorney must work together when an international student in F-1 visa status is arrested, but Carrie Peltier offers both services.
Naomi E. Perman
Naomi Perman is committed to providing high-quality legal advice and effective representation. She has an outstanding approval rate for petitions filed with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and applications to U.S. consulates abroad.
